Ingredients
2 1/2 cups cakes flour
5g instant yeast
60g castor sugar
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups warm water (more if needed)
Method
In a large bowl, sift the flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Mix
Add in the water while stirring
Make sure its all mixed in ( you can make it into a soft dough by reducing the water but i prefer my dough to be very loose and not roll-able)
Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and a tight lid and allow to rise for at least an hour.
Heat up the oil but not to high
Press the dough removing some of the air and then shape the dough in hand then drop into the hot oil.
When the colour is golden brown turn it over so it cooks the other side and then take of the oil and put it in a container with paper towel to remove some of the grease.
